Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation

The Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation (CTLI) supports all MSU educators in advancing equitable, student-centered learning through collaboration, innovation, and evidence-based teaching practices. Center for Educational Research and Analytics

The Center for Educational Research and Analytics (CERA) supports evidence-based decision-making and educational innovation at MSU through research, analytics, assessment, and strategic consultation. CERA partners with educators and institutional leaders to generate actionable insights, advance student success, evaluate learning outcomes, and strengthen institutional effectiveness. 

Office for Program Development and Management

The Office for Program Development and Management (OPDM) partners with colleges and departments to design, launch, and sustain high-quality online, blended, and in-person educational experiences. OPDM supports the development of innovative and accessible programs that expand learning opportunities and reach learners around the world.

MSU AI

MSU AI provides institutional leadership and decision support to advance the responsible adoption and use of artificial intelligence across MSU. Recognizing AI as essential infrastructure, the university supports strategic decision-making, fosters innovation in research and education, and promotes the development of trustworthy and reliable AI that benefits the university community and society.

Apple Developer Academy

Since 2021, the Apple Developer Academy has empowered more than 1,800 learners to build apps, businesses, and community. The academy was launched in collaboration with MSU and the Gilbert Family Foundation. As the first and only academy in the U.S., the program in Detroit offers a free, intensive nine-month program focused on custom-built curriculum in coding, design, marketing, project management, and artificial intelligence technologies.

Apple Manufacturing Academy

Apple is committed to providing training to small and medium-sized businesses to implement smart manufacturing techniques that are creating opportunities and shaping the future of technology. In collaboration with MSU, the academy offers free in-person programs and online training modules to eligible participants as well as a Teaching Innovation Grant to help build vital competencies and new capabilities.
